You might be drooling at it and totally tempted to call it kheer 😝 Well name it what you want but give it a try cos it’s super easy and quick to make – you’d finish this bowl within minutes 🤤 Tastes yummmm + you can enjoy this oatmeal at whatever time of the day depending on your food mood 😈 The addition of cardamom, saffron and almonds adds all the magic and loads it with Indian dessert feels and flavors💗

Serves 1
Ingredients
Few drops of ghee
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup milk + 1/2 cup more if desired
Crushed seeds of 2 cardamom pods or powder
2-3 kesar strings, crushed

Recipe
In a pan add a few drops of ghee (you can also dry roast) once warm add oats and let it roast on low medium heat until golden; about 4-5 mins. Add water + milk and bring to a boil, Add crushed cardamom seeds, kesar strings and 1/2 cup milk if desired to manage consistency, let simmer for 5-7 mins. Finish with crushed almonds.
