Since the festival season has started for all the Hindus and in line is Ganesh Chaturti. Celebrations being done at home in a very simple and customary manner due to current ongoing situation.
Ganesh Chaturti is my favourite festival since childhood, although we celebrate so many festivals this one being is emotionally connected. From bringing Ganpati to home and rejoicing with him for 5 whole days with scrumptious food and no doubt MODAKS being his and everyone’s favourite till the VISARJAN there’s only happiness, joy, laughter, dancing merrily to his songs with number of people visiting your house and you doing the same this festival is a grand celebration.
I miss so much that every year I literally have tears in my eyes seeing the celebrations back home. Unfortunately, there is no celebrations in and around the place I live and that’s even more saddening!
I make sure we celebrate all the festivals at home here so that my son can understand and experience our culture and heritage, although it’s a little different but still!!!!
🍀Greengram sabzi/Hesarukal palya
🍀Rice and Papad.
Wishing all my friends here a very Happy Ganesh Chaturti. May lord Ganpati bring lots of happiness, good health and love I each one’s life🙏🙏
